Mackerel is one of the most versatile baits for big game sea fishing. IMS Mackerel 165 is ideal for aggressive action. It casts extremely well, sinks fast and wobbles on the free fall, ideal when you need to reach deeper for the fish or in the strong current situations. Also, Subsurface action can be achieved with lowered rod tip and fast retrieve as soon as lure hits the water.
Twitching of the rod with slow or medium retrieve will create erratic swimming action.
IMS Mackerel is armed with 2mm AISI 316 stainless steel wire through and has 9 layers of epoxy resin.
Because our lures are hand crafted, wired with AISI 316 stainless steel and covered with top grade epoxy resin, no two IMS Handmade lures will be 100% identical.
